The pro level ecosystem pond kit includes all our best equipment recommendations in one convenient package. The kit on this page is designed to pump 2700 gallons per hour.

Size of pond for the 2700 gph kit:

  • Fish Pond - up to 2700 gallons of water in the pond for pumping the entire contents of the pond each hour.
  • No Fish in Pond - up to 5400 gallons of water max in the pond for pumping the entire pond every one to two hours. 

You do not have to purchase all items in the kit, you set quantity to 0 below if there is an item you do not want to purchase.

Order of Water Flow / Installation

  1. Water enters skimmer
  2. Check valve with 2" threaded outlet (inside skimmer)
  3. 2" threaded nipple fitting
  4. 2" bulkhead fitting that comes with helix skimmer
  5. PVC Adapter 2" MPT to 2" slip that comes with skimmer
  6. 2" pipe from skimmer to priming pot (optional)
  7. Priming pot strainer basket with 2" inlet/outlet
  8. Priming pot 2" threaded outlet direct connection to pump 2" female threaded inlet
  9. 2" outlet of 4K series pump 
  10. Short stub of 2" pipe into 2" PVC union fitting for quick disconnect of pump
  11. Pipe run 2" pipe from union fitting to filter
  12. Filter with 2" inlet/outlet
  13. 2" pipe from filter to UV clarifier
  14. Filter with 2" inlet/outlet
  15. 2" pipe to waterfall
  16. PVC fitting 2" slip to 2" MPT 
  17. 2" threaded inlet into waterfall unit
