An easy solution for creating a shelf within a pond
The Aquascape AquaBlox is available in two sizes. It is an extremely practical piece of equipment that has multiple uses within a pond. While it is great for creating pondless waterfalls, it can also be used as a pump vault that prevents fish and large debris from entering the pump. This unit can also be used to create a larger shelf within a pond that can elevate boulders and plants that would be otherwise submerged. Using the AquaBlox in a pondless waterfall situation allows there to be a hollow area inside the water basin that is filled with rocks or gravel. This allows a higher volume of water to present in the basin than if the basin was completely filled with gravel.
