POND LINERS FOR SALE

We offer a variety of pond liners for sale at Everything Ponds, each suited to different projects and applications. The recommended liner depends on your specific needs. For instance, a large pond may require a different liner material compared to a very small decorative pond. Several factors influence the choice of material, including strength requirements, puncture resistance, UV resistance, pond size and shape, as well as the required level of flexibility.
FLAT LINERS VS PREFORMED LINERS
Our pond liners for sale on the website fall into two categories: preformed pond liners and flat sheet liners. Flat sheet liners are as their name suggests – large, flat sheets of malleable liner material that can be folded, bent, and conformed to fit a pond excavation. In contrast, preformed liners are manufactured in specific sizes and shapes, designed to fit seamlessly into a pre-designed pond hole. An example is our rectangular box-welded liners, 3D-shaped liners crafted from super strong polypropylene liner material. These liners are intended for installation within a rectangular-shaped frame. Once installed, they eliminate the need for folding or pleating, which is typically required with flat sheet liners.
Reinforced Polyethylene Liner
Premium RPE liners are our preferred choice for most ponds, including medium and large applications. These liners are lightweight, strong, UV resistant, and affordable. We offer various thicknesses and grades, depending on your specific needs, but generally, we highly recommend our most popular liner, the Premium RPE 30 mil.
The 30 mil thickness provides a balanced combination of strength, reliability, and bendability. As liners increase in thickness, they become stronger but less bendable. For budget-conscious projects or situations requiring maximum bendability, we offer a slightly thinner Classic 24 mil option. For those prioritizing strength, we suggest the Classic 40 mil liner, which is double-reinforced and extra strong. Our Premium 30 liner contains an additional laminated coating which provides even better waterproofing ratings, and higher UV resistance. This high UV liner comes with a 20-year warranty, even under constant sun exposure. In contrast, the Classic 24, 30, and 40 mil liners must be covered with water or soil to be eligible for the 20-year warranty.
Tried and True Classic Pond Liner
Very Bendable (at the expense of being less puncture resistant)
Among all the pond liners for sale on our site, EPDM rubber is the most 'traditional' option we offer. EPDM rubber has a long history in pond construction due to its extreme softness and flexibility, making it easy to bend and conform to uneven pond shapes. However, this flexibility comes at the cost of strength. EPDM rubber liners are at least two to three times less puncture-resistant compared to RPE. They are also two to three times heavier and more expensive. Despite these drawbacks, EPDM remains a good choice in certain situations where a highly bendable liner is essential.
Rectangular or Circular 3D Drop-In Liners
Custom Liners in 3D Shapes. Simple. Easy.
Our box-welded liners are custom-made, 3D-shaped liners tailored to your specific size requirements. Crafted from high-quality polypropylene liner material, these liners are bendable while still offering exceptional strength and reliability. They are significantly stronger than RPE liners but come with a slightly higher price tag. The primary advantage of box-welded liners lies in their superior strength and their precise fit for a rectangular box pond frame. Unlike folding a flat piece of liner into the frame, which results in numerous folds and pleats, our box-welded liners provide clean, neat lines for an aesthetically pleasing look inside the pond.
Although there are other pond liner material options out there on the market, the 3 materials listed above are our top choices for most pond applications. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your project with an expert, please feel free to contact us.
