How do I repair an RPE liner?

When you order an RPE liner you will receive a 12” piece of 4” single sided tape with release paper on one side. The tape can be used for patching or for certain penetration details through the liner. To install the tape, make sure to clean the area well with rubbing alcohol first and scuffing it a bit will make it stick a little better. The tape is a good product as long as there is no load placed on it. For example, if you were to tape seams and then add water, the weight of the water could tug on those seams and eventually cause the tape to come off. However, the tape works quite well for patching in cases where there is no load pulling on it.
