The Pump Sock protects submersible pumps of all sizes from sucking in large debris, fish, and frogs. It requires minimal cleaning, and actually reduces the amount of maintenance and cleaning of the pump itself. This Pump Sock also adapts to horizontal and vertical pump discharges, and enables better water flow by separating water from debris and muck. We recommend placing the pump or pump intake inside a skimmer, but sometimes a pond may not have a skimmer installed. In this case, the pump must be placed directly into the pond and the Pump Sock would work exceptionally well here.
