A rigid or flexible liner can be retrofitted to use this skimmer by adding a bulkhead fitting to the wall or floor of a pond (for proper positioning in the pond).
The Aladdin No-Niche Skimmer operates by requiring water suction from the pump's intake side, and it has a minimum flow rate of 800 gallons per hour (GPH), but 1200 - 3300 gph is ideal. The float ring weir has a vertical adjustment of up to 5-1/2" that caters to water level changes from back-flushes, water adjustments, and waterfall-induced waves.
