Instructions for use: It is recommend to have at least one extra valve than needed. Keep the extra valve open when starting the pump, and slowly close the extra valve to adjust air volume through other open valves. This method helps prevent excessive back pressure on the air pump, protecting it.
The 3/4" barbed fittings are a true 3/4" (12/16" on a ruler). Many plastic barbs and pipes labeled as 3/4" are actually 13/16", which means the Matala 3/4" barb may fit slightly loosely inside your 3/4" poly or flexible PVC pipe.
We still highly recommend this high-quality fitting. For a secure, tight seal, simply wrap the barb with a layer of black electrical or duct tape before inserting it into the tubing.
