What are the main differences between Everything Ponds 3D Drop-In Liners versus EPDM?
The main advantage of drop-in liners is that no folding or pleating is necessary. You simply order the liner in the exact size, to the nearest .25", you need and drop it in.
Another advantage is that drop-in liners are made from a much stronger material, about three to five times stronger than EPDM, while also being lighter.
However, EPDM is very flexible, which is the main reason many people choose it. If your project involves a lot of folding and pleating, EPDM will likely be easier to install, even though it is more prone to punctures.
Our drop-in liners are made from a reinforced 45 mil polypropylene material that is strong, light, flexible, and UV resistant. The extra strength EIA liner is even more flexible and offers higher puncture resistance, making it ideal for complex installations.
