How do I measure for a 3D Drop-In Liner?

When ordering a drop-in liner, you will need three dimensions in inches: length, width, and depth. The depth is the depth of the water if the liner were completely filled.

It is best to take the exact inside dimensions of your frame or tank. If your frame or tank is not perfectly square, measure both ends and use the larger of the two measurements to ensure the liner reaches the walls in all locations.

We can fabricate 3D drop-in liners to the nearest 1/4 inch, but the dimensions need to be entered as decimals in our order form. For example, 48 1/2 inches would be entered as 48.5 inches.

Ordering a liner that is too small will cause the liner to not fully reach the walls and could create problems with stressed seams over time. It is best to make sure your measurements are as accurate as possible.

If your liner is too large, it will still function as a waterproof membrane, but it may end up being a bit baggy in the frame, which is only an aesthetic issue.
