How do I anchor or attach a 3D Drop-In Liner?
There are several ways to anchor a drop in liner, but the important thing is to securely attach the top edge of the liner.
If you are installing the liner into a frame that will accept a fastener, such as a wood frame that can take screws or a concrete or block wall that can accept a concrete fastener, our preferred method is to order the liner without the top flaps and then screw, nail, or mechanically fasten the top of the liner to your frame. A popular way to do this is to use a metal or vinyl termination bar along the top edge to hold the liner tight to the frame, then screw or nail through the holes in the termination bar.
If you can’t fasten into your framing material, or if you are putting the liner directly into a dirt hole, you can order the liner with top flaps, which are essentially 12-inch extensions of the walls. The flaps can be folded over the top edge and secured by placing rocks, blocks or other ballast on top.
