The Airmax Pond Air aeration systems are quality aeration kits designed for small to medium sized ponds. There are a couple advantages to running an aerator in an ecosystem pond or dedicated koi pond.

The first advantage is that an aeration system helps increase dissolved oxygen levels in a pond. When the water temperatures in a pond increase in the summer months, the dissolved oxygen levels naturally go down, which can create a dangerous situation for fish. In addition low oxygen levels can lead to deteriorating water quality even if there are no fish in the pond. An aerator helps introduce air in the pond, which will naturally raise the dissolved oxygen levels.

The second advantage to an air-pumped aeration system like the PondAir, is that the bubbling air helps mix the various layers of water in a pond. Any type of water movement or water mixing in a pond helps lead to healthier water conditions. In addition, this mixing effect helps suspend solids in the water, allowing the pond skimmer and filtration system to filter them out before they sink and decay.

High Efficiency Aeration Pump

Running on as little as 4 watts, these whisper-quiet diaphragm aeration pumps are the heart and soul of our PondAir™ aeration units. Costing virtually nothing to run, you can feel good about providing constant aeration to your pond.

Airflow Control Dial

Dial-in aeration output with the twist of your finger. The airflow control dial enables you to restrict airflow to your pond when desired without the need for tools or stone adjustments. Simply turn the dial to restrict airflow or run the aeration pump at full output for maximum aeration.

Black Vinyl Airline

Flexible black vinyl airline allows for strategic air stone placement to maximize air and water circulation. PondAir™ vinyl airline has an approximate inside diameter of 1/8” and is packaged in 30’ lengths.

Directional Check Valves

Water tends to climb aeration airlines when your aeration pump is powered down. Airflow check valves allow oxygen to travel outwards from the aeration pump while preventing water from traveling into the lines when not in use to prevent potential water damage to your aeration unit.

Air Stone Diffusers

Designed to improve oxygen absorption, these 2” diameter air stones create ultra-fine air bubbles that infuse oxygen directly into the water column.
